Since 2014, 17 partner organisations from 12 countries have been working to support the EU Heating and Cooling Strategy, to help national and local authorities develop enhanced Heating & Cooling plans, and to improve capacities at the local level to put these plans into practice. On 12 October 2016, the STRATEGO project held its Final Conference to conclude this work by presenting progress to date and discussing key priorities and opportunities for the sector.
This final European workshop was well attended by local authorities and urban planners, housing and building companies and representatives of the heating and cooling industry. Participants had the chance to discover and evaluate the project results, particular business models and engage in cross-border collaboration on multi-level actions for enhanced heating and cooling plans.
